About This Work

City of Water imagines an urban landscape where architecture and water become inseparable. Forms resembling towers, rooftops and distant structures emerge through layers of turquoise, blue and green, while their boundaries gradually dissolve into light. The city seems suspended between solidity and fluidity—as though built from water itself. The painting transforms the familiar idea of a city into an imagined place shaped by movement, reflection and the changing nature of the sea.
