About the Artist

Ledia Çeta is an Albanian visual artist working in painting, mixed media, and installation. For over thirty years, she has lived across multiple continents as the spouse of a diplomat, witnessing the splendour of diverse civilisations firsthand. Amid this constant movement, the Adriatic and Ionian seas of Albania have remained her spiritual anchor—a recurring theme she depicts with palette knife and watercolours on silk and canvas. Çeta's work explores the intersection of cultural identity and contemporary expression, viewing art as a vehicle for emotional healing and intercultural dialogue. Her paintings have been exhibited internationally, including at the 10th Beijing International Art Biennale (2025), where she also participated as a roundtable speaker at the 1st International Art Conference. She currently lives and works in Beijing, China.
