Memories

About This Work

Memories explores remembrance as a collection of fragments rather than a fixed image. Layers of colour gather, overlap and disperse across an expansive blue field, suggesting moments, places and emotions carried through time. Some remain vivid, others become indistinct, yet together they form an evolving inner landscape. The painting reflects the way memory preserves not necessarily what happened exactly, but the colours and feelings that remain with us.
