Water Through Time (Triptych) - Panel 1
About This Work
Water Through Time (Triptych) explores the enduring relationship between humanity and water across past, present and future. Moving through three interconnected panels, the work evokes water as a source of life, memory and transformation. Traces of human presence appear within an immersive aquatic world, suggesting how civilizations have always depended upon, lived beside and been shaped by water. The triptych also looks forward. As the boundaries between human life and the natural world become increasingly fragile, water emerges not only as part of our history, but as a shared responsibility for the future. The continuous movement of blue across the three canvases connects the different moments in time, reminding us that while generations change, our dependence on water remains. Invisible currents shape the underwater world in mysterious ways.
